I couldn't have asked for a better weekend filled with training and testing.
Saturday we spent the day training at Laserfische on the Kawasaki 250cc in preparation for the 4th round of the SuperBike Mag Short Circuit Series along with other riders with the likes fellow lady rider Mia Gasper. This young lady is really someone to watch. You improve every time you are out on track, I can not believe how determined you are. Watch this space.
Sunday we saw our first set up day on board my new ZX6 with Industry Motorcycles at Redstar Raceway Delmas South Africa. We had a lot of work to do, setting up the new shock and adjusting to a different rear tyre profile which I've never ridden with before. Throughout the day we saw continuous improvements. We know where improvements need to be made and now know how much faster we can go. I,m looking forward to the rest of the season and can't wait to leave for the Italika Women's World Cup in two week's time.
I can't thank Shaun Quinton Vermaak and Ruperd Johan Fourie from Industry Motorcycles enough for all the technical support, keeping my bike in emasculate condition and always ensuring that even off track you'll have a blast. A big thank you to my dad, Paul Woodward for my new bike, always supporting me and having my back.
Just to let every one know my racing number has not changed. It is still #77, we just haven't put on the new sticker kit.
