The Crew. These guys look out for me big time. They’re super encouraging and expect a lot out of me.
It’s been nose-to-the-grindstone this weekend, setting up my bike and testing different suspension settings. I didn’t get to spend a lot of time being my usual social butterfly self, or towing too many people around the track (I love instructing), because we had our work cut out for us.
We got lots done and Tony and I feel like we’ve got the suspension working pretty well now (with the exception of one more change we want to try), so toward the end of the day we got to try out a few other things... quicker turn throttle, Tony adjusted my foot pegs, we tried new gearing, changed the ratio on the brakes, and tried a set of new tires... and I went FASTER! ...so I guess it worked!
It’s all about getting comfortable on your bike and getting it to where you can trust it. If it wasn’t for Tony, I’d be lost, he knows bike setup and understands what I need as a rider. It’s really confidence inspiring.
Anyway, that’s my little report from this long work weekend... did I mention that I love my job?!
